Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis seeks to measure mineral levels and ratios within your cells. Minerals are the “spark plugs” in your body, and are necessary for all of your boy functions to run smoothly and optimally. The problem is, in our nutritionally deficient, stressful, and chaotic world, we are not getting enough of the important minerals we need, or are burn through them before we can enjoy their benefits. 

 

The HTMA test can tell us if our thyroid, gut, hormones, and adrenals are thriving at their highest potential, and what we can do in order to reinforce and aid their functions if they are not. It can also measure any levels of toxic heavy metals that may be blocking the absorption of beneficial minerals and/or wreaking havoc on our body. 

 

You may be wondering— what’s so special about HTMA?

Can’t I just get a blood or urine test?

Of course you can! Those tests are also beneficial for specific reasons. However HTMA is one that will give you results unlike any other because:

— It measures the mineral levels INSIDE the cell, while blood tests measure mineral levels OUTSIDE the cells.

— It shows mineral levels and toxic heavy metals within a 2-3 month period, while blood & urine tests show levels in that exact moment. Since our bodies are always changing, it is much more beneficial to receive a wider range of your levels as they accumulate over time,

instead of seeing what they are in just one point in time.

— This test is much less intrusive. No need for needles or to pee in a cup; simply cut a small snippet of your hair and send it to a lab to be tested!
