if you are like i used to be— intimated by making meatballs from scratch, don’t be! it’s genuinely so easy! this recipe uses only 4 main ingredients, is fun to cook, and tastes delicious!
GLUTEN FREE MEATBALLS
prep 10 minutes
cook 15 minutes
serves 2
ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/2 onion, chopped
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt
pepper
directions:
in a large bowl, break up art your ground beef.
add 1 egg, chopped parsley, chopped onion, milk, and spices.
with your hands, mash ingredients until well incorporated.
in a large pan, add avocado oil or beef tallow. turn on high heat and wait for the pan to get hot.
once oil begins simmering in pan, form small balls with your hands and place on the pan. they should instantly sizzle or the pan is not hot enough.
sear each side of the meatballs until brown before covering the pan with a lid and turning down the heat. cook covered for another 5 minutes or until fully cooked through.
add pasta sauce of choice to the pan and simmer meatballs in the sauce for another 2 minutes.
serve with pasta or side of choice. enjoy!
